Ijiko (イジコ, Ijiko) is a creature from Japanese folklore.

DescriptionEdit

Ejiko (嬰児籠 or エジコ) is a traditional knitted basket to keep the baby in. The yokai Ijiko takes form of this basket and appears in burning flame. Ijiko is a baby yokai who stays in a basket under a tree waiting for travelers to pass by. If they come by and kneel over the basket, Ijiko will bite or lick their face.
